Arkven helps merchants build a rolling reserve review file. This page is honest English, not a certification.
What we collect
- Account: email and a password, through our auth provider.
- Connected Stripe operating data: charges, refunds, and disputes as amounts, counts, dates, and reasons. Not card numbers.
- Optional Shopify operating data: fulfillment and delivery timing on a sample of paid orders. We do not store customer names, emails, or addresses for the reserve file.
- Reserve terms you type in: processor, percentage, hold days, and suspected trigger.
- Optional Risk replies you paste, and the case outcome you record, if you use those fields.
Why
We use this to build your review file. If you join the research cohort, we also use the review questions and outcomes you share so we can learn how real reserve reviews go. We do not sell your data.
What we do not do
- We do not process payments or move funds.
- We do not store PAN, CVV/CVC, or bank account numbers. Card data stays in Stripe.
- We do not submit chargeback appeals, and we do not send your pack to Stripe for you.
- We do not claim SOC 2, PCI, or other audits we have not completed.
Disconnect and deletion
Disconnect Stripe or Shopify in Connections. To ask us to delete your account and stored operating file, email hello@arkven.com.
Other
This is not legal advice. Arkven is not a law firm, not a lender, and is not affiliated with Stripe or Shopify. Your payment provider makes the final reserve decision.
